About Chef Ian Middleton
Ian’s Culinary Journey Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ian embarked on his culinary journey over 20 years ago while working his way through university. After gaining experience in various facets of the restaurant business, Ian decided to refine his skills by enrolling in the Stratford Chefs School. He then traveled to London, England, where he gained valuable experience working in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Upon returning to Canada, Ian held several key positions, including Chef of Pazzo Ristorante and Pizzeria, and Pastry Chef at Bijou Restaurant. He further honed his expertise as a baker at The Bruce Hotel. Ian co-starred in the TV series “Shoppe to Chef” on Rogers Television alongside Rick Frank. He has contributed to the Stratford Chefs School in various capacities and currently teaches at Conestoga College, sharing his culinary knowledge with the next generation of chefs. Ian’s catering experience is highlighted by his tenure as a Catering Manager, where he consistently demonstrated his ability to craft menus that accommodate clients’ preferences and needs. Whether it’s a small gathering or a large event, Ian’s expertise ensures that every detail is meticulously attended to, providing an exceptional culinary experience for all guests.
